This blog space has been created to share my experiences, ideas for better photo shoots, and stories about photography. I also love to tell stories of how my faith journey has intertwined with my photography journey. We all have experiences that we can share and learn from. We all have a story to tell. I love to tell a story; I love to hear a story. Photography is really about capturing your story. That is what makes it so enjoyable.

We are all different and unique individuals. The challenge is to capture that uniqueness. And I have learned to embrace and celebrate my uniqueness. This was not as easy as one would have thought. Transitioning from working in education and being a student in higher education to working as a creative entrepreneur was a massive transition for me. Having an education in leadership and ministry while working in ministry and working in my own photography studio facilitated that deep search for identity. This is where I learned to embrace and celebrate who God has made me to be and do what He has called me to do - whether that is behind a camera, at a desk, or in an office. I have also learned not to limit myself to one thing. It takes wisdom and experience to know you can do more while keeping priorities and boundaries in place. If I can do it, SO CAN YOU!
