Meet Ginger Beady

Meet Dr. Ginger Beady: ideas, goals, and style.

First of all, photography was never part of my original plan or something that I ever considered. I dedicated years to pursuing education and training to become a professor in a Christian college as well as in ministries—and in 2024, I completed my Doctorate in Ministry. (Yay!) However, God had a grander vision in store—something entirely unexpected and beautifully different. And I LOVE GOD’S PLAN! Photography turned out to be one of those unexpected gifts—something I didn’t even know I wanted, but now I couldn’t imagine my life without. I’ve completely fallen in love with it. From the lighting to the editing to the connections I get to make with people, photography brings me so much joy. It's more than just a job; it's a dream come true.

Goals and Values
At the heart of Ruby Lens Studio is my love for studio photography using flash and strobe lighting, which ensures beautiful consistency and a cohesive visual flow in every gallery I deliver. I prioritize quality over quantity—focusing on creating a select number of standout images that are artfully posed, perfectly edited, and ready to be proudly displayed.

Most importantly, I want your session to be easy, comfortable, and fun. My approach is relaxed and relational. I genuinely enjoy connecting with the people I photograph—whether you're a brand-new parent or a business professional—and I want you to enjoy every minute in front of my camera.

My Style
Over the years, my photography style has become more minimalistic and intentional. I’ve learned that the most powerful portraits don’t need elaborate sets—they simply need the right light, thoughtful posing, and a photographer who truly sees the subject. I’m especially drawn to clean, backlit images and pure-and-white setups that feel fresh, simple, and timeless. My newborn sessions reflect that same peaceful minimalism, with soft textures and subtle tones that keep the focus where it belongs—on your precious little one. I enjoy creating images with rich contrast and depth that highlight the subject's personality or purpose. I no longer depend on busy or decorative backgrounds, although I recognize that background can play an important role.  Essentially, I design each session to focus on the individual I’m photographing. As a mobile studio photographer, I have streamlined my process to provide exactly what is needed for a beautiful and polished session—no clutter, just clarity, and confidence.

OUTSIDE THE STUDIO
I am, first and foremost, a daughter of God, and I strive to reflect His love in both my life and my business. I’m married to Pastor Gabriel Beady, the love of my life, and he’s helped bring my dreams to life in more ways than I can count. Our children are grown now, and we’ve been blessed with nine wonderful grandchildren who bring us endless joy. Outside of photography, I love reading or listening to Christian romantic suspense novels, enjoying chocolate (always!), sipping coffee with way too much creamer, dining out, and watching movies that end on a happy note. Most of all, I cherish time with my family—it’s in those everyday moments that I feel most inspired.

Additional Details: The camera gear I use is a Sony A7III, with Sony 50mm, 85mm & 90 mm macro lenses. Please take the time to check out my Portfolio.
